Charge for waiting time, automatically
Twenty minutes waiting at a pickup is twenty minutes not delivering, and until now nobody billed for it. Waiting time is a cost that never showed up on the invoice.
Now it can. Under Settings → Pricing → Waiting Time, switch it on and set three things: how many minutes are free, how long a billable block is, and what each block costs. Choose whether to measure waiting at pickup, at dropoff, or both. A live example shows exactly what a given wait will cost before you save.

▎ The rider app handles the rest. It detects when a rider reaches a stop and starts the clock, then stops it when the pickup or delivery is confirmed. No buttons for your riders to remember, and no stopwatch arguments: the timestamps settle it. Past your free grace period, the charge is added to the delivery automatically and appears as its own line item on the order.

▎ Set it once, and every minute of waiting is accounted for from then on.
