Meet Dropa: The Operating System for Modern Logistics Companies

Meet Dropa: The Operating System for Modern Logistics Companies

If you run a delivery company in Nigeria, chances are your day looks something like this: orders come in over the phone or WhatsApp, someone writes them down, a rider gets a call, and everyone just hopes it goes smoothly. Meanwhile, the national courier down the road is running on a branded platform with live tracking, automated dispatch, and clean reconciliation. Dropa exists to close that gap.

What Dropa is

Dropa is a white-label logistics operating system. That's a mouthful, so here's the plain version: it's the software layer that lets a delivery company run its entire operation, booking, dispatch, tracking, proof of delivery, cash reconciliation, from one place, under their own brand, without needing an engineering team to build any of it.

Who it's built for

A courier company with three riders and one with three hundred are doing fundamentally the same job: picking up parcels, assigning riders, collecting cash, keeping customers updated. Dropa is built for the operator in the middle of that range, the businesses too big to run comfortably on WhatsApp and spreadsheets, and too small to justify building custom software from scratch.

What problems it solves

Four things tend to break down first as a delivery company grows: no real-time tracking, so customers call to ask where their package is. Manual COD collection, so cash quietly goes missing between rider and account. Generic or nonexistent tracking pages, so the brand is invisible to the customer. And spreadsheets standing in for a real operations system, so nothing is actually tracked. Dropa replaces all four with a connected platform, not four separate tools bolted together.

What makes it different

Dropa is built for Nigeria first, not adapted from a foreign product after the fact. That means cash on delivery, informal addresses, and local payment rails are native to how it works, not features added later. Dispatch stays in your hands too. Assignment is manual by design, a dispatcher picks the rider for every delivery, because that's how operators stay in control of their fleet instead of trusting a black-box algorithm.

Dropa is what a modern delivery company looks like on the inside, available to any operator, not just the ones who can afford to build it themselves.
